pbeecroft
Need some advice. My Awning size from swift is 1064cm. been looking at various different awnings, was originally planning on another isabella but as we only use an awning 2 or 3 times a year i cant justify the cost. Isabella said the 1050CM is the perfect fit for the swift twin axle vans. The other awning sales people/ shops give conflicting advice. pyramid size is 1038-1063 and then 1064-1089, some say the smaller others the larger. similiar problem with dorema, bradcot NR etc. is it better to go tight or baggy ?. michael r
Hi, IMHO it is better to go for the "size up" option. It is easier to lose excess at the base, rather than trying to stretch the awning, particularly when pegging down, and especially if you are pitched on a slight incline. That has always been my theory anyway. Cheers Mike R.
