bobren55
I went to the show yesterday and they had a new model on the stand. I can't find it on their website but I think it was called an Ardennes in the Pageant range It was a twin axle (Too heavy for me unfortunately) and I did like the layout. Two double beds possible, end bathroom and a layout along the lines of the Champagne. Has anybody else seen it and formed any opinions? BrianI
Did you mean the Sancerre, which is the new Pageant that is on display. This is the Pageant version of the Senator California both of which are exactly the same size. They were parked side by side. It certainly seems a good layout and get round the problem of small bathrooms that other fixed bed layouts have. The weight is still not too heavy to need a 4x4. 1435kg MTPLM. Single axle. Would definitely be on my short list next time round http://www. bailey-caravans. co. uk/newsitem. php?recordid=157 Brian PS Just noticed that the above link does refer to the Ardennes but there is no info Edited February 20, 2009 by BrianI PS added
jaymac
The Ardennes is the Senator version of the Bailey Brambler that won the competition which has now gone into production. http://www. bailey-caravans. co. uk/downloads. ..nes_leaflet. pdf There's a video of it somewhere too. The Sancerre is the new pageant based on the California. Check the "latest news" under the "information centre" heading on the Bailey web site, this is where the new models appear first. Mine: Fiesta; his Mondeo Estate; ours Bailey Olympus534, DD1's Poppy the cocker but she comes with us!

bobren55
Hi All, Thanks for all the replies and the directions to the Ardennes leaflet. I suppose I will have to save up for a heavier tow vehicle and the new caravan :D If I had this on the back of the Mondeo I would be towing at around 105%. The Mondy can tow 1600Kg but they always end up a bit more than they should. Bob R
