Adi
My caravan is quoted as requiring an awning length of 975. I have been looking at some Isabellas on Ebay but most seem to be of the size 1000-1025. I assume that this would be way to big but the next size down is 950-975 which would put me on yje limit. Advice Please

Advice Please There should be a size in between, ie 975-1000. I'm not aware of gaps in awning manufacturers ranges.

Advice Please I was told that you generally have up to about 15cm either side of your of the exact caravan measurement for the awning. I think the 1000-1025 may be too big and leave you with too much of the awning on the ground. Also don't forget the size ranges that manufacturers offer do vary. JanB
If you go to the Isabella site, go into "service" and there is a section to calculate which Isabella awning size fits your particular caravan. In fact (not sure if it is on the web site) they can also tell you if a particular porch awning will cover any of the windows in your van if you need to know. We have an Isabella Magnum and would not change for any other make. Had a Bradcot full awning a few years ago - Bradcot stated it was the correct one for our van - but we could never get it to fit properly. Chili
There is a 975-1000 size but you should buy the 950-975. Always go for the smaller measurement when you're on the edge of two sizes. Its easier to stretch a little bit than to loose some. But you won't need to do either, 950-975 is the right one for you.
thelonegroover
I quite agree with Chilli, if in doubt go for the smaller size. However, our 'van's awning size is quoted as 987, its actually 985, we have a 975 Isabella and its a great fit. 975 seems to be the most popular size for Isabella awnings. If you want an Isabella, then I'd get one, otherwise, you'd always wished you had. Quote Swift Challenger 490 Sorento + Fabia to help the Sorento up hills!
