Yossa Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Hi Ken I'm not sure how old your van, is but my local dealer re-tensioned my vans blinds for free when I put it in for a service, they even repaired one free of charge. kjb Posted February 17, 2005 Author Share Posted February 17, 2005 Thanks Yossa, I am afraid its a 95 van so obviously too old to ask dealer to carry this out for free, but I have read of replacement cassettes being fitted on this forum so if the unit is removed I would have thought the spring can be adjusted. Bungle22 Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 My van is a '93 fitted with blinds with runners made of cream coloured plastic. At the top of each side is a small panel (50mm x 65mm approx) which just pull off on each side to reveal a black button with a slot in it. This is the adjuster for the spring tension.
