Wheelbase

Hi all I'm laying some slabs to support the wheels on my Lunar Clubman 2 berth. Making a little driveway!

I measured 75 inch on a caravan down the road (not got mine yet) so does this seem about typical for size?

Thanks!!

I think you may have your terminology wrong David.

Wheelbase is the distance between two axles and a single axle caravan has no wheelbase as there's just one axle.

I think you may be wanting to know a caravan's 'Track', which is the distance between two wheels on opposite ends of the same axle.

I believe Clubman vans were 7ft 8ins exterior width and as  paving slabs tend mostly to be 18ins or 2ft I'd position the inside edges of 2ft slabs 4ft 8ins apart which would mean the slabs provide cover between 8ft 8ins to 6ft 8ins.

I've got nothing to do on this hot afternoon

but to settle down and write you a line.
