Clarkey82
Good Evening, Just bought my first caravan and everything works except the heater. I have a red light at the isolation switch, I have power going to the heater. I know this as the fan runs up, But... I have zero heat or flow control using the slider. No lights either. I have ordered a new board for the slider but is there anything else that it could be? Kind regards, Chris
Fenester
Was the weather warm when you tried it? I got worried with a carver once producing no heat but it was simply that the thermostat did n't kick in because the ambient temperature was too high. No not really plus I have no control over the which option I'd like to get the heat from nor stop the heater at all with the slider control. Kind regards, Chris The fan and the slider switch operate on 12 volts, so as the fan runs, there must be 12 volts to the switch? The electric heater works from 240 volts, via a relay which you hear click. There is a kettle like connector for the 240V feed to the heater, which is known to work loose.
