Corner Steady locks for Compass Cassita 554 2020

Recommended Posts

Hi - we just bought this, but the Millenco steady locks that we had for our previous 'van don't fit this one (which is peculiar).  Is there a lock that is known to work, please?

You do not show what you bought and I was not aware of there being a problem with them. Can you clarify what you have, as others may know the problem and have solved, it but they need more information.

Your profile shows a Bailey Senator which should not be a problem but not sure if this was an older caravan you have now changed.

Alternatively ask Milenco if they can help.

Are the milenco locks being used for the front or rear steadies?

Sorry - yes.  I should update the profuile.  We had a Senator (loved it) but mice made the wife want to sell it.

Anyway, we have the Compass Kimberley Kensington (Cassita) 554 now

The leg winder isn't long (doesn't protrude) enough for the Millenco locks we have (product no 2172), so we need an alternative.

Does your van have an AL-KO chassis?

If it does then it should accept  THESE

They will fit rear and front.

Thanks all - had to go back to the locks which fit a sleeve over the steady nut and then something over the top to lock it - the SAS ones are the ones we used.

As a result, we now have 2 Millenco (2172) locks for sale...
