Whatever”does it” for you, I’m just glad I won’t be anywhere near you!

let us known where you are going so we can avoid you.

Flag poles and wearing onesies to the toilet block is just plain chavvy.

Whatever floats your boat! Please turn them off though when you turn in. Thanks.

If you spiral the lights around the flagpole you get a better effect but quite a lot of people don’t like them.

When we go to a festival, we put our flag up, mainly for direction purposes.

We once put a windsock up, never again. Noise was horrendous.

Well, I for one, think they look great and I have a very similar set of lights and pole, plus a string of 1000 Christmas lights for around the awning. We were at Sandringham CMC site, last Christmas and most people made an effort to decorate their vans and the whole site looked magical - thanks also to the tremendous effort put in by the wardens. Hopefully, we will be there again this Christmas and I just hope there is the same effort again - we certainly need something at the moment to bring a smile back to our faces!

Mmm,   Christmas at home would be nicer in my opinion ,  but each to their own.  One persons 'magical' is another's nightmare

Never ask a man if he comes from Yorkshire. If he does, he'll tell you. If he doesn't, why humiliate him?

There's a fellow quite near us who's had the outside of his house decked out for Christmas, lights, inflatable santa etc. since the beginning of October. He's been on the local radio and says people need something to cheer them up. His cleaning business has pretty well gone down the pan so I can sort of see his thinking. Regarding the caravan lights, it's not something I'd bother with myself,I like to keep things simple, but each to their own. If we were all the same, it'd be a boring old world.

If I had my way all types of Christmas (don’t you just hate the word X mas, along with kids instead of Children) decorations would be universally banned until 1st December. Some years ago now we visited Boston (USA not Lincoln!)  around early December. When we went to bed there was nothing in the hotel. The next morning it, and just about everywhere else, had been magically decorated (with great taste surprisingly) I reckon that was a far nicer way to do things  than the slow inexorable creep we in the U.K. seem to be subjected to earlier and earlier each year.

Last year our local Beefeater had Christmas (not X mas) decorations, and menus, out in late August :o

There was even a feature on the TV last week about some dopey individual who had already put up three Christmas trees and all the decorations in her house “For her kids (Grrrr) to have something to be happy about”

Easter eggs anyone??

Edit

It would appear that the “system” on CT changes the X abbreviation of Christmas to the full word, well done CT, now do the same for “kids” please

Not at ours! They stayed out until the big day.

(I see the software even changes the x mas to Christmas in quotes from previous posts, clever!)

Ahhh … now we understand why we thought you didn’t like “Christmas”,

when what you actually didn’t like was “X m a s”  🤔.
