Help with sourcing a replacement Axle.

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, new to the page and hoping if someone could help.

We’ve an old Eriba Puck Micro caravan and unfortunately it’s Axle has just broken and cannot be repaired. I seem to be finding it hard to source a replacement and wondering if anyone had any good ideas, contacts or recommendations.

its an AL KO B600 axle. I’m obviously not looking for a direct replacement but just sourcing one is proving tough.

really appreciate if you take the time

many thanks

Have a word with these, they have a good selection of axles and may know of one that will suit yours, I presume yours is un-braked.

They may need info off the axl spec. plate either stuck onto or riveted to the axle.

Common sense isn't a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

This is a rare model and parts may be difficult to find. Possibly people like SFM caravans who break up old ones may be the best bet. A new one for an old caravan even if available would not be economical.

Fraser Brown pointed me to Peak Dynamics who make axles for a major trailer manufacturer. I've had two off them and am very pleased each time. AL-KO no longer make the ones that were fitted.

Never ask a man if he comes from Yorkshire. If he does, he'll tell you. If he doesn't, why humiliate him?
