Beachside, Hayle, St Ives Bay

Recommended Posts

This has been our fifth trip to this site albeit our first in the van.

We have previously stayed at one of their Bungalows with are clean and tidy and have stunning views over the sea.

Post cover we have just spent another week there but this time in our van.

First things first. The pitches are nearly all slipping and on grass. The majority are sloping left to right and you will need blocks or whatever you use,

The amenities are good with pretty clean showers and waste etc.

Due to cover the bar was closed but when its finished and we are all cover free it looks superb with an elevated balcony area to watch the sunsets.

They have just opened a beach bar near the beach entrance.

Its not a private beach but may well as be as access is via the site only or about 1 mile either side.

The beach is stunning.

Surf boards for hire or surf lessons.

Sunsets are out of this world virtually every net across the beach with views to St Ives.

Colin, I thought your review was excellent and made me feel a bit :( because we are not in Cornwall. I adore the county, especially around the Helston area.
