The hot water is not working and there is some water leaking from a pipe underneath the motorhome when I have the tap button turned on on the control panel, however the heating is working, and the gas is working fine as it supplies gas to the hob?

On electric you can only have one thing at a time,  you can have heating, or hot water, but not both at the same time.  It may work the same way on gas, try turning the heating off for 15 minutes or so and see if the water getss hot.

Sounds to me like you have the drain down valve open!

It'll be under the seating, near the heater. If its open, all your water will just get pumped outside and the boiler won't fill with water.

The drain down valve is normally yellow. Pointing upwards is open, to drain the system. Horizontal (in either direction) closes it.

Hope this helps.
