12 Month Site Required

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this.

I'm looking at buying a tourer but would like to place it at a site for a year so we can visit every/everyother weekend.

Does anyone know of any 12 month sites I can look into? Preferably near the beach (don't mind a small drive but would prefer to walk) - I was looking mainly around East Yorkshire but I'll look anywhere if people recommend places.

Thanks for your help. :Thankyou:

You may struggle to find a site open all year round.

Commonly referred to as "Seasonal pitches". Many also permit winter storage to fit your requirements.

Not every season pitch is available all year round.

As a matter of interest what would a 12 month pitch on a site with basic facilities cost within a walk of an East Yorkshire beach?  I would have thought this would be megga bucks! Lovely idea though.

The initial cost would make a few think twice.  But I hazard a guess they spend more on site fees and travel each year.

We had a yearly pitch in 2010. We couldn't afford to move but could afford the site fees.  £1800 all in iirc, gave the girls a huge garden with playpark etc.  Almost every weekend,

6 weeks solid in the summer.

Worked well for us at the time.
