I am insured through the Caravan and Motorhome Club and feel the cost is reasonable.

Their handling of claims is very good should you ever need to claim.

Certainly both clubs should charge you at normal rates but you may have to join. There are some other insurers in the market, but sad to say Hobbys do have a high theft rate, both for the caravans and bits, which does put many firms off.

Hi Tom, its sad but true that there are still many opinions about Hobby, and other 'foreign' vans based on either deliberately misleading, or inaccurate, information.

When we had a Hobby  we insured it with the NFU and I presume, its a while since, that this was because the cover and price met our requirements.

David From Cheshire has a Hobby and will certainly have more up to date info.
