Veneer replacement

Hi after a leak in my front window there is damage to my window sill (unsure of correct name), is there a veneer i can buy to cover the complete sill to try and hide any repair. Many thanks.

You can buy sheets of veneer at B&Q.

Genuine wood veneer takes quite a bit of skill to apply properly and can be expensive.

A thin plywood would probably be cheaper and quicker if you can find a near enough match.

You haven't said how old your caravan is but assuming  its less than a couple of decades old, the window sill is a piece of paper covered light weight plywood. Under it is the lining of the gas bottle locker. It's not insulated by the way. What I used to insulate our2009 Sterling was some off cuts of cheap vinyl flooring with the insulation underlay and a piece of the matching plastic edging. Looked like it grew there. All from B&Q.
