On my Isabella awnings the elastic ring (Isaflex elastic loop,  900060299)  is removable/replaceable if it's broken.

During my apprenticeship I was sometimes sent for a bucket of steam, a glass hammer or a long stand but a rubber ladder is a new one on me.

Is it something connected to the New Technology?

As PickledOnion says, Isabella awnings dont generally have rubber ladders but Isoflex elastic loops. You could probably use rubber ladders but you'de have to find a way of securing them to the rings on the Isabella awning.

See the difference

Hi Normal ladder rubbers will not easily go onto any Isabella / Ventura awning ,better to purchase the Isa flex ,they last a good length of time too

I can't personally understand a reason to wish to use these ladders?

If "reach" is the issue, then daisy chain one or more Isoflex bands after unclipping off their plastic "Dee" moulding.

I use the ladders on my Eurovent. They save fiddling on slopes where the reach differs fore and aft. We only use CL sites.

You could use  Tiraps to fasten to the 'D' ring
