Fuse box problems

Recommended Posts

Hi, I had a blow out the other day which ripped out most of my wheel arch and with it all the wiring from the 12v side of the fuse box. All the 240v side still works but I don’t seem to have any 12v outputs from the transformer. I only have 2 fuses although my wiring book says I should have a 7.5A which is not present. There is also a small 1.5A mini circuit breaker which appears not to be resetting. I have to reinstate wiring and sort out the supply problems. Any info greatly appreciated.

With catastrophic damage like that anything could have happened!

Disconnect anything which looks damaged and use a meter to test what is left, and rebuild/replace any damaged wiring.

BE careful! ALTHOUGH 12V IS RELATIVELY SAFE, SHORT CIRCUITS CAN CAUSE FIRES .
