Fridge not cooling. Suspecting coil

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a dometic rm7651L and I came back to the van to find the freezer defrosted and the fridge not cool.

I have switched over to gas to see if it works.  I suspect the 230v coil.

Does anyone have an idea what resistance should be on the coil?

The fridge is rated at 190w  on that coil?

Any ideas will be gladly appreciated

190W / 230v.  = about 0. 9 ohm

This should be 0.9 amps!
