Hi,

We have good friends (new to caravanning) who have made up their mind this is the model/year caravan they would like. We drove 150 miles to view one yesterday which seemed okish. The bed seemed to a tad flimsy with just a single leg at the front and the whole thing appeared a little loose, is this a problem for you owners and is there a known ‘fix’ for this?

Any other issues we should be looking for at this age?

Lastly does anyone have one they are looking to sell?

Thanks in anticipation for any guidance/thoughts pls.

Have a good damp check as 2010 was the bad year for sidewall damp at floor level. Side panels were short and were not sealed at the lower awning rail allowing damp in.   If you search on YouTube you will find a video showing a  card being slid in the gap between the rail and the side panel where there was no seal.

Have a read of this link

Thanks Birdman, I had heard about this so a great warning. We are actually looking for slightly earlier, 2010 model with a completely different bottom seal (ie a rubber seal)

Any further tips/advice most welcome.
