Woodentop Posted April 18, 2018 Share Posted April 18, 2018 Has anyone on here yet got a new U4 Seville and successfully found a porch awning that will fit such there are no parts of it on a window surface? We measured up and decided a 260cm would fit from behind the kitchen window to part way between the door and the front nearside window. However when we tried it out the outer end (rear) of the awning had to travel round the roof corner so the whole of that side was loose as a result. We moved the awning along so that the rear end was between the kitchen window and the door (8" but part cut off by the over-door light) but that put the front upright about 1/3 along the front side window. As the caravan is new I am reticent to have any part of the awning traversing a window surface in case it gets scratched which would of course affect resale value. Luckily we didn't spend a fortune on it so we shouldn't make too much loss if we sell it - as it looks we will have to do. There is exactly 205cm between the front edge of the kitchen window and the rear edge of the front side window, so a 200cm would probably work but the only one we have found so far is a Kampa - and we all know about Kampas. ..... 1 Quote 2018 Passat B8 Estate 150GT TDi150 towing a 2018 Bailey Unicorn S4 Seville Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
