Oscarmax
Why do people buy caravans blinds, it does not cost a fortune to employ the services of an engineer? Quote 2023 Suzuki Across Hybrid and 2016 Swift Conqueror 480 HT
Stevan
Without a detailed description of the damage and proposed repair it is impossible to say whether the quote (or was it an estimate) is reasonable. The best course of action if you consider it to be "steep" is to get a second or third quote from AWS mechanics.

There are a lot of damp caravans out there and were are talking quite recent caravans judging by some of the forum posts. My question is, was it bought retail, as in you are not a trader and it is wasn’t a private sale. If it is a retail sale then there is no such thing as “Sold as seen” and you have statutory rights that the seller cannot take away from you. A bit more information around how you purchased the Caravan will allow us to help you further.
