No, I know some who did but Dad would have viewed that as an extra meal and we weren't allowed treats :D

 

Now since you wrote this at 5. 12am it's pleasing to see that those excellent habits nurtured by your parents still remain. ;)

I feel ashamed! :(

 

How can I ever raise my head again surrounded by such diverse magnificence. Design, form, function, cost, desirability and so on!

 

Maybe if I painted the house brick silver and so too the lumps of wood I would be accepted in this illustrious company (But I doubt it! :blink: And I really don't want to carry the paint for the odd stones I find on site and commandeer into support duties. :)

I do too now John! Thank goodness for the ubiquitous standard British house brick lying conveniently by the grey waste drain on the pitch I was on recently. The slope was so great that none of my glorious stainless steel support jobbies were low enough to do the job :blush:
