Babstreefern
Hi Noracompo, I too started in tents, then trailer tents, then folding campers and now into caravans. To be truthful, I still miss tenting . But hubby can't really put up the tent/folding campers any longer, so we're taking it a little easier, and we still keep our hand in by putting up the awning
Noracompo
Hi Babstreefern I miss my tents, especially the bell tent but as we are getting older and both with bad backs,(I also have a lot of hip pain after a total hip replacement that didn't go well) We bought our van, and have sited it on a seasonal pitch about an hour from home so now we come here after work Thursday and go home Monday afternoon no stress no back ache just relaxing , and no more trying to dry a wet canvas tent in our flat Jenni
