I just can't see the point of not filling the tank at each visit. ..It could quite reasonably be argued that lugging a full tank around in a car that does a very low mileage over a given period, is less fuel efficient than carrying enough for that given period. Not all people have enough spare money perhaps, to carry £70 of fuel between paydays when, for example, £15 fully meets their requirement.
