Recommended Posts

Size 17 ? I'm not familiar with such sizing.

I've said it before on this Forum but in my opinion Walker Awnings are second to none.

Seasonal awning or one for a prolonged season pitch . The warranty terms are different as some will quote all season but are limited in the length of time it is erected .

Its a small family run company in Deurne in the Netherlands, I went to the factory/showroom to pick mine up but they deliver EU wide. They speak perfect English.

I'm more than happy with mine and it makes a change from buying an Isabella which is what most folk do when they want a quality product.

I like the look of that awning, going to call the dealer.

Does the awning have poles along the outer ridge?

thanks

Or - Buy a good second hand isabella. Use until worn out then buy another one.

Outer Ridge?

It comes with standard steel poles or you can upgrade to Easy Grip Aluminium Poles (I have) or Fibre Glass.

The poles make a standard rectangular frame with poles running along the front roof section, they rest against your caravan on pads which even in strong winds stay put and cause no damage. If you do order one make sure you get a set of stormbands.

Got a Walker. Cost £105 on a certain auction site. Complete with fibre poles.

On a seasonal pitch in Snowdonia where the weather can be harsh.

Superb quality. And makes a nice change from the other brands you see all the time.

Uses the same fabrics as Isabella and even the same poles and fittings so you can get spares.

Reckon ours must be ovrr 10 years old. Still looks good.

PS The secret with an awning on a seasonal pitch is to peg down properly. I have seen lightweight porch awnings survive in storms that have wrecked £1000 awnings.
