You'll find Camping Ciudad de Albarracín not too far from Teruel. See their website here. The town is in the mountains around 18 miles from the motorway.

When we checked there were no suitable stop overs close to the motorway. We did Santander to Navarette near Logrono and then pushed through Alcossbre. A long haul of about 7 hours.

If you want closeness to the motorway and you are prepared to carry on a further hour, we can recommend Camping Altomira. Its in ACSI, and is a mile from the A23. The small town of Navajas is a few minutes walk away and we found it delightful. We actually stayed for a couple of nights and travelled by train into Valencia which took less than an hour from memory.

Hope this helps. ..

Stayed at Altomira several times - agree with Ken, very friendly, decent restaurant, have to go up a steepish hill to the pitches but no problem.

We stayed at Altomira in April this year, we were on tier 1 which is the most accessible for caravans, we have been on tier 2 previously but the kerbs are higher on that one & tier 3 . We just parked on the hill before the touring part of the site near the wooden chalets & walked around to find a pitch, midweek is best, the Spanish fill it up on Weekends . There is a train station close to the site, 10 mins for us, maybe longer for others, which has services to Teruel & Valencia. There is a Vias Verde which is accessible from the site for walking or cycling & a nice riverbank walk to a mini Yosemite waterfall. I'll post a link to the Vias Verde site which I used . By the way the pitches are fully serviced & you can access the electric box in case you trip the supply .
