mrchiggles
We bought our 1994 lunar premiere for £1000 around this time last year - we've kept the awning, aquaroll, etc, etc for the new van and just sold it for £1800 on eBay - unbelievable! Obviously didn't get into caravanning to make a profit but it just goes to show how much interest there is in tidy, dry older vans. I think the new carpet, curtains, blinds, etc helped - combined with the lightish wood it didn't look too old fashioned. Just need to wait for Mrs H to reverse the new Antares onto the drive! Babstreefern
Brilliant. Happened to us with a car, but years and years ago. Remember the Hillman Avenger, well we bought one from a local garage, bought it for £500 and 2 years later sold it for £1,000. Not bad. Never made a profit on a car before then or since

Never made a profit on a car before then or since Ah the Hillman Avenger, bought a new one back in 1977 or thereabouts after three years it rusted in patches all over the body so it must have been painted with rust already on the body panels,no wonder we bought Japanese after that !!
