Any Recommendations For Sites In Blackpool?.

Recommended Posts

Hello all, we're thinking of taking our kids to see the Blackpool Illuminations this year and stopping over in the caravan.

Can anyone recommend a good site for us to stay nearby?.

Not that fussed about hardstanding, grass pitch is fine but would like an EHU point. Decent toilet/ shower block is a consideration as well.

We don't have a mover so a relatively easy pitch access would be nice!.

Any recommendations welcome!.

Cheers, Keith.

No, not yet but may sign up if needed?.

We have done a fair few years camping and most of the sites also had caravans so I guess these are classed as commercial sites?.

That looks a very nice quiet site!.

Bear in mind that traffic along the front during illuminations can be horrendous.

As we are CC members, only ever stayed at Blackpool South for the illuminations.

Did the job for us but only a couple of nights each time, only really used it for somewhere to sleep.

Caravan Club Blackpool south is ok for the lights, we have not been for a couple of years but are going for a weekend in October which I booked this weekend so still availability.

As said traffic was horrendous from stargate last time so will be coming the opposite way from bispham this time round and see if that's any better!

We had a great 3 days at the new Pipers Height caravan site. All very clean, large pitches easy to reverse into and very helpful staff. Easy to get into the town.

Used to be a couple of decent CLs in Division Lane near the airport, don't know if they're still going. Handy for Starr Gate where we used to park and get the tram.
