Review: Birchwood Touring Park

Very friendly owners, very clean site, recommended for all visitors whether with a tent, caravan, or motorhome.

There are large fully serviced pitches for anyone to use and RVs are welcomed.

The two toilet blocks are new and spotless, with additional disabled facilities. There is a play area for the youngsters that includes slides, roundabout, and a sand pit. I have indicated there is a swimming pool on site, however this is shallow (2' deep) and quite small so better describes as an unsupervised fenced paddling pool.

There is a large games area where football, tennis, volley ball, netball, and nine hole golf can be played. Also a table tennis table and pool table located near to the reception.

There are dish washing facilities at various points, and a small laundry (tokens from reception) on site.

The Elsan waste point is a "Rolls Royce" and kept spotless.

Motorhomes are catered for either at a service area or on serviced pitches.

Site security is good with barriers at the entrance and exit utilising number plate recognition cameras, and the wardens and staff live on site at the entrance.
