Isabella Awning

We have just purchased an Isabella awning and have put it up on our season pitch. Looks fab however when we zip the awning up, round the corner of the door is really tight and difficult to zip round. I have undone the side roof poles and the front roof poles with no difference made. Do I need to undo the upright legs and unpeg this. Don't want to unpeg all the awning if it can be avoided. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Sounds as though its over tensioned.

Slacken the roof poles and the uprights SLIGHTLY, and see if its any easier.

Slacken the tensioning, do all the zips up then retension it - start with the roof rafters, finish with the legs.

According to Steve Biggs in the Isabella vids it is advised to undo the "window" zips, tension the rafter poles and then do the zips up again.

The best solution is to unpeg and fully zip up the wall panels then repeg before, as Black Grouse suggests, extending the roof and side poles.

Make sure you zip up correctly and bring zippers together in the middle of each panel.

Never saw the video, or read the manual - just used our Isabella as described for 20 years, sometimes in gale force winds or higher, without any issues.

There should be no ripples, bulges or sags in a properly pitched awning.
