2005 Bailey Pageant Rear End

I have bought a 2005 Bailey pageant bordeau , can anyone tell me if the rear is made of plastic or fibreglass? there are slight cracks on the top rounded edge and want to get repaired.

The rear will be plastic. The front is normally fibreglass. ..............and welcome to

Here you go it's an Acrylic plastic a bit like Perspex but can be vacuum formed & moulded https://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Acrylonitrile_butadiene_styrene. Most caravan backs & front's have been made from it over the last 10-15 years.

 

Some fronts were made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) or fibreglass but I'd doubt that a 2005 Bailey would. Our 1998 Bailey Ranger had a GRP front but all others since have been ABS until the introduction of Alutech, however most of the external mouldings are still ABS.
