Any advise on how to clean the inside hinged section of roof lights!

Washed the roof this weekend and noticed that the hinged part of the roof light inside looks grubby!

I stand on a short step ladder and on the bed to clean the area around the roof lights from inside the caravan.

Thanks GPS looked at doing that, will give it a go!

Hi Beebs some members on the forum have mentioned that they have taken them apart to clean ie: unscrew the hinge.

I take it you mean the large Heiki roof lights.

You can remove the front hinge pins, they are like rivets so if you squeeze the end in the pin will push out.

You also have to remove the gas struts. Usually two small plastic covers conceal the fixing screws.

Just be very careful when working on the roof and use crawling boards to prevent damage to the thin skin of the roof.

I usually do all mine every year to keep them tip top.

Beware if you actually step/walk up onto the roof.

It's possibly slippery and a long way to fall!
