From My Dashcam Friday Morning...

Recommended Posts

Caught this on my Dashcam on the M40 friday morning.

For reference i've got the cruise set to 68. I then trip it out and join lane 3 traffic up to 80, then back off.

He's gone!

He's a braver man than me doing those speeds,,I know a lot of vans will sit at 80mph but I wouldn't want to be the one doing it if it starts to snake.

If you watch the point as he goes past the truck the whole rig snakes wildly. Was even scarier from where I was. .

Once I got up to 80+ i let it go. far too dangerous

He/she didn't appear to have any extendable mirrors or indicate when pulling out. What a complete idiot!

So you're complaining about him breaking the law whilst freely admitting you did the same?

Hi to you all. I think that the whole point has been overlooked here by everyone that has viewed this footage.- THIS DRIVER WANT'S REPORTING and dealing with by the police that patrol the M40.

Life in general can be a journey of chance with some winners and sadly some losers. Your outfit can never be left to chance. A short-while carrying out essential checks can ensure a long-time of happy & safe caravanning for all concerned.
Ignorance can often be bliss but is certainly not an excuse and when continually disregarded they can be totally disastrous for oneself and the innocent parties.

These drivers are diliberately flouting the law. In both cases shown, the drivers should be reported and even if the dash cam evidence can't be used as evidence for a prosecution, they should be cautioned by the police. These people are diliberately putting others lives at risk. I dispair!

He might have been exceeding the speed limit but he was NOT in the third lane.

Wunny - I was clearly not referring to the CT member with the dashcam I was refering to the chancer that was towing the caravan with the Mondeo (I think).

The reference to "He might have been exceeding the speed limit but he was NOT in the third lane" was directly referring to the driver with the dashcam.
