If your good lady wants laminate, I would maybe suggest the next best thing-

laminate lookalike in vinyl. ....easier and neater to fit. .. ;)

You may have to throw out the rest of the kit to allow for the extra weight. Watch the MPTLM of the van. Laminate flooring is not light.

Not an advisable course of action.

Hi ray, been there done it, about 3year's ago, it does add weight but look's good,my husband and son-in-law did it on a Sunday afternoon, said it was not hard. We all so had all the soft furnishing's recovered, (it did look good)

When we came to sell the Caravan the dealer thought it showed that we had looked after it.

Does it stop the carpet runners from "running", if it does then it can't be all bad.

We have it at home in the lounge, the place is like a skating rink.

Our van has got laminate flooring as standard . Got to admit though changing your van to get laminate is a bit extreme. .

Nissan X-trail 2. 2 DCi - 2005 Adria Altea 502 DK,2 well-behaved boys who I am immensely proud of!!

(Also a 1990 VW Golf Convertible, which definately does not tow anything!!!)

This post is not meant to intentionally offend anybody

RAY,

DONE IT LAST YEAR AND IT CERTAINLY LOOKS MORE MODERN.

WAS NOT TOO BAD TO FIT,JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND EITHER USE EDGING STRIP OF GO RIGHT UP TO THE EDGE TO MAKE IT LOOK NEAT.

ONE WORD OF WARNING

EVEN WHEN YOU WIPE YOUR FEET RIGOROUSLY YOU CANT HELP BUT BRINGING IN GRASS AND WET MUDDY MARKS .

IT WAS ALSO VERY COLD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

I WOULD PROBABLY OPT FOR A HARDER WEARING CARPET IN MY NEXT VAN WHICH WE ARE GETTING NEXT WEEK

GOOD LUCK DAN

dont forget if you lay laminate flooring in the van you will have to leave a gap all roud the units to allow for expansion so it wont look as good as vynil
