Coachman Vip 575 Towing Cover

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I will be picking my new 575 in a month, so I have been looking at towing covers, and have I am swaying towards the specialist covers tow pro elite @ £349.

Was wondering if it is any good as I cannot seem to find many reviews.

On another note, any reviews of the caravan itself from owners.

I went for the £249 option tow pro + because I felt the £350 was to heavy duty for storage on site or in the car and I have heard reports of them holding water when it's wet and sliding down, when I spoke to them they said the elite was for places like the Australian outback. Took 8 weeks to make but it's very good I had the universal fit one before but it's not a patch on the towpro+post-1861-0-24632300-1426356216_thumb.jpg

Im on my second van ive had a Towpro elite for. Expensive yes but worth the money IMOH. Quick to fit and wipes clean easily when dirty. Essentially, well padded so the front of the van is well protected against stone chips

I seem to remember that you had issues with another company that made towing covers or was that someone else?

I have the standard specialised tow cover for my 575 vip and found it to be an excellent product, fits perfectly and does the job, the more expensive one is debatable but thats up to you, worth knowing is that there is a flap along the top inside edge that hooks over the coachman name plate above the front windows which keeps the cover in place, remember to unhook it when removing or you will try to pull off the plate. Should also say specialised are one of the best companies i have ever dealt with, excellent customer service.
