Gas Price

With the oil price now around 51 dollars a barrel will we see a reduction in price of Calor gas, or can

 

we just live in hope?

It has by 10% in India. ..but they state that one reason it hasn't dropped lower is not the cost of the gas but the physical distribution of the product and the fact that,unlike say canned goods, they have to supply and retain and refill said container.

So mains gas prices which we are told are connected to oil prices haven't dropped

Nor have electricity which are connected to the price of mains gas

Nor have airline fuel surcharges

We bought a 47kg flogas just before Christmas and the was cheaper then the previous bottle :)

A calor lite lasts me an average of 2 years, and got two full ones under the recall before Christmas, so not an issue for me.

LPG at the pumps has dropped, inLiverpool currently 62. 5p a litre, pre Christmas it was 68 p

Hey what is this thing called Mains Gas?.............have not heard of it for over 20 years. ....

 

Gas & Electric prices are also bought as 'futures' and if forecasts drop they still pay the 'supplier' at agreed rate.

Wow. ..you must be frugal or use EHU a lot then??

 

I used on caravan something like 50kgs over 125 nights, only 8 of which were on electric.
