Temperature? What? I'm confused!

According to the set up information here :-

http://www. tyrepal. co. uk/wp-content/uploads/TA22-20130518-single-pages. pdf

you only need the tyre pressure to input and it alarms at temperatures over 75 degrees.

But someone who knows for sure will be along soon

`Impossible to input a temperature as it all depends on when you do it.

Hot day?, Cold day? Before you start driving? after you have driven?

The tyre temperature will be changing all the time.

The Temerature input is for the OverTemp Alarm.

We left our Tyrepal TB99 set on the factory default of 70oC seems OK.

Park the car in the shade (garage if possible) overnight and after 12 hours the ambient air temp and tyre temp will be the same.

We found last month that the tyre temperature rose to about 4 or 5 above ambient and stayed there whilst towing at motorway speeds. It did peak at about 15 above after being stationary in the sun for about 25 minutes though

Pressure rose by 4psi and stayed static at that level

Depends on how far you have driven as well, best advice IMO is from Caravanlady, see women are sensible ;)
