We purchased a detachable ACS TOW BAR from ACS, ALMOST £200, Unfortunately, less than one-year-old, it broke, the lock fell out plus the product malfunctioned. The company asked me to send it back to them at a cost to me, plus they were reluctant to help us to change it. Very disappointed indeed, plus very dangerous. Has anyone else experienced similar?

After near 10,000 miles of towing around UK and France the permanent live from the fusebox is blowing the 15 amp fuse . I went to Glossop to pick up my caravan after a small repair and when I connected the caravan to the car everything was dead . The mechanic on site checked the caravan with his box of tricks and said the fault must be in the car . I found that the main fuse feeding the tow bar electrics had blown. I replaced the fuse and everything seemed ok ,alko ,lights etc After driving 30 miles to home I checked my lights and the fuse had blown again. I can't see anything obvious any help would be welcome . Car Land Rover Freelander 2 , Coachman Pastiche 520

Looks like 2018 Kuga might be list for the next tug. Which towbar will work with it is my question. Here''s why. I do not fancy paying Ford for supply and fit, quoted between 7 and 8 hundred quid, a lot for an old pensioner. Under 4 hundred at the local Towbar centre, with vehicle specific 13 pln electrics. But here is the question, Ford fit a removable ball hitch so as not to interfere with the reversing sensors, any one know if the fixed ball hitch does interfear with the sensors at all. Another quick question, if we got a Kuga with reversing camera, does it show the hitch, allowing the driver to connect up on his own without getting in and out of the car. Disabled driver. Thank You.

Hi, Ok will be buying an older eriba puck later this year. Would assume that it has two sockets. So was wondering if an alko towbar with two sockets on the car was the best way to go. Or would i be better going for a removable swan neck one. There is about £120 difference between the price . Just not sure what i need to tow with. My car is a peguoet tepee bipper 1. 4 diesel. Thanks for your help

Hi there I'm not a caravanner (yet!) so I'm hoping someone here can help me with this question. Would a tow bar Guide (like the picture of the one attached) be of any use when you're attaching a caravan to a car tow bar? I'm working for the inventor of a new tool like this one: we thought it would just work for small trailers but I think it would work with caravans too. Looking at photos of caravans, it's not clear whether the stabiliser makes it easy (already) to attach the caravan to the tow bar, or whether this Guide would actually be of some help. Basically the Guide makes it easy to reverse the car into exactly the correct position for the tow bar to couple with the trailer/caravan. Can anyone advise please? Many thanks! Mulberry.
