When emptying my toilet last night I found that there seemed to be some leakage from the seal area. Now my daughter managed to use the wrong fluid in the flush this week could this have damaged the cassette. Is there and way to repair or fix the seals.

After a small leak into the cassette bay, I replaced the Lip Seal and this solved the problem. It was very easy to do and the seal was obtainable from a local caravan accessory shop. The scans below are from the Thetford instructions with the seal. This one seal is for the Thetford Models C200, C2, C3, C4, C250 & C400. For models C200, C2, C3, C4 For models C250 & C400 Graham

Our door catch on the outside - the one to hold it open - is at best tired. It's 17 years old, so is probably allowed to be, and a small breeze is too much for it now. I haven't found an actual Rapido one from 2000, but have a Veneta catch off Ebay which seems to have the same hole distances, and looks the same basic shape. It's one of those with a projecting horizontal piece on the door having a rounded ridge along its outer edge, which snaps into a pair of open jaws on the bit fastened to the caravan wall. The van's in store at present but when I get it back, is this simply a case of unscrewing, replacing, and re-screwing? Or is there more cunning stuff I haven't realised about? And do I need to seal round it all with mastic? Thanks as ever, Richard

I need to remove the Remis window blind casettes from my Indiana S6 to allow better access to replace my window seals and repair the pot shelf/window cill where water has leaked in through the window hinge strip. I can see using a mirror that there are two screws in the bottom attachment, but access to the hidden screw is very difficult due to the sloping nature of the blind and the proximity to the pot-shelf. I have tried all sizes of hex-bits, flexible drives etc etc and have just ordered a very long thin screwdriver which i will bend, to hopefully remove the screws quarter turn at a time. In the meantime i thought that i would post this plea for help just in case anyone out there has come up with a better solution. If my solution works I will post some pictures.

I have just bought an Eccles Sterling Sapphire 2003. The toilet bowl drains when flap across as trialled all with pink flush. However the seal seems ok as when took out and tipped upside down etc. it did not leak. However not sure if the flap or seal. I know new seals can be bought but wondering if a spring or something that connects the sliding flap is a problem. Can anyone help or had similar issue? I will add that none of it seems to be in the wells etc of the containing locker, but seems to go into the toilet. Much appreciated.

This product was created to seal porch awnings which suffer with a gap between the pole and the caravan, allowing draughts and bugs etc inside the awning, it is inflatable, made from strong PVC. does anyone know how to remove the cover plate on the cassette for this? In the manual it says rotate anti-clockwise! mine won't budge and I don't want to break it. The cassette leaks when being carried so I presume the seal needs replacing?

Solution Awnings' draught excluder fits either side of your porch awning poles, next to your caravan/campervan. Once inflated it cushions the pole against your caravan, creating a draught free environment. It will help to protect your awning from wind damage, whilst making your porch awning much cosier inside. The cushioning of your poles means that there is no longer any noise of poles banging against the side of your van, or any worry that they may be damaging your van. Very easy to put up and take down, it is the perfect solution for anyone with a porch awning. It is made in the UK from high quality PVC. Prevents poles from banging into the side of your caravan/campervan. Turns your porch awning into a cosy area. Lightweight and easy to store. Simply inflate to seal the gap between your porch awning and caravan/campervan. Stops wind & rain getting in, and pets from escaping. http://www. amazon. co. uk/gp/product/B00DBZN2MY http://www. solutionawnings. co. uk

Love my Valencia, however there are some minor guarantee issues that need sorting and I can see opportunities to improve the design for sat TV and in board tank. My main worry, which I have asked the dealer to look at at the end of January, is a poor join behind the concertina door in the shower wall. I have since looked at new vans which are the same! Can other Unicorn owners look at the join between wall and door frame in their shower and report to this tipic with regards to appearance, acceptability and quality of seal. John

i have a 2001 avondale dart 510 with a Thetford 200 and the instruction book indicates a Thetford Door type 3. I purchased a new seal however it fits on the hatch perfectly but its too deep for the door to close and also it attaches to the frame not the door as the picture plus the lock is in the centre not top or bottom so i think this may not be a Thetfrod model at all. The seal i removed is much thinner. Any ideas? As i have a brand new Type 3 seal if anyone wants to make an offer :-) Also there seems to be moisture sitting in the bottom of the frame (in the locker) and some damp so im thinking i remove and reseal the frame and replace the seal.
