Hi - very new to all this but loving life on the road . Got a slight issue and wondered if anyone has any words of wisdom. I tow a swift 636 twin axle with a volvo xc90 2. 5t petrol. However I always get a tugging sensation when towing (although never an issue when on motorway). I have done the following so far, checked nose weight,tyre pressure, height of towbar, had alko hitch tested by dealer, changed weight distribution. We watched a caravanning documentary the other day about the British love for caravanning and a look back on caravan history. It mentioned about the times where you could just pitch up your caravan anywhere you wanted - a wood, forest, by a river, on the side of the road - anywhere! Obviously times have changed and you can no longer pitch anywhere you like, with laws in place to restrict where you stay.
