It's not obvious how it comes off to put a new bulb in. There's a black thing on the left but pressing it in or up doesn't seem to do anything. Brute force would break the cover I'm sure, so hoping someone knows the trick.

Spotted today in local Aldi Long LED work light. Recargable with charger. 2 light levels. £30:00. Ideal for an awning light, work light and emergency light in the event of a power failure. I can not find it on their special buys, might be left over from last week. Gloucester store had about 10. John

Hi everyone! I haven't owned a caravan for about 20 years. I have a Peugeot 207 SW with a towbar and would like advice on what sort of caravan I should look for. The car is just a 1400 petrol, is it suitable at all for towing a caravan, or just designed for a small trailer? Years ago we had a Royal - it was gorgeous. I am just looking now for anything light enough to tow - not fussy it's just me and my partner now. I look forward to hearing from people. Karen

Hi, wondering if anyone else has a remedy for our Bailey problem? We've got a new-to-us Bailey Orion 430-4 which is about 3 years old I think. The front ceiling light has become a bit loose before so we just tightened up the screws, thinking nothing of it really. However, this morning the whole thing fell down so now it is just held up be its wiring (and several strips of duct tape!) We can now see that the screws just go into holes in the insulation above the ceiling which have now worn away slightly meaning that the holes are too big for the screws. It also looks as though this has happened with the previous owners too as there is a set of additional holes that are now unused. Is this a common problem with the Orions? Has anyone overcome it? Thank you

Just bought an aluminium Livarno LED torch from Lidl and am very impressed with it. It has three modes of operation, max, eco mode and SOS signal. There is also focussing that gives a spot or very even wide beam and the brightness is incredible which gives a beam up to 120 metres. The SOS function flashes 3 short then 3 long then 3 short continuously. The LED is a 3watt Cree type so will only give about 3/4 hour to 1 hr use on max brightness from 3 AAA batteries but this makes it compact and it comes with a little pouch to put it in.

I did fit some LED lights in our other van and they did save a lot of current drain when on a non mains site with some using 1/10 of the power of equivelant halogen bulbs. When swapping to the new van I took four of the ones that fitted but find they have a very cold light now compared to the halogen bulbs. They were supposed to be 'warm white' types but look colder than the ones originally fitted to our Bailey Orion over the kitchen. Has anyone found any that have a similar colour output to the halogen ones. The ones I am intending to replace are the MR11 2 pin spot bulbs and will need them for next June when I help to run a rally.

Hi all, I was hoping maybe some of you could help me with an electrical issue on my Swift Challenger 480 SE. I recently bought this caravan but when I first took it away for the weekend I found that the Awning Light on the side of the van was not working. I replaced the bulb and checked the fuses but neither of these are the problem. I was wondering if anyones had the same problem or could offer any suggestions? Thanks!
