I've read many items relating to mixer taps leaking but none seem to fit my problem. Which is.... This mixer tap - I think is the Carafax L180 (Bailey Ranger Series 5 460/4) - leaks from around the lower central part that swivels (the part with the output spout on). I've taken it apart as much as I can, removed the cartridge, removed and cleaned the rubber insert and cleaned the brass part it fits on to. Put it all back together, tightened the main brass nut and yet it still leaks - not a lot, but enough to be a problem. Could it be that the cartridge is at
Hi, We have discovered that the shower mixer tap is leaking. Water appears to be coming out the bottom of the tap where it connects to the hot and cold pipes. Anyone had anything similar or advice on how to repir this please
Hi I am completely new to this and hope that someone can give me some advice. I brought an Elddis EX2000 last year, our first caravan, and having been away for the first time this season over the weekend i noticed that the washroom tap was leaking (there was a large puddle on the shelf under the sink. It appears that the 'drip' is coming from up inside the tap, there was no leak at the push fit fittings but the small copper pipes were wet. In addition, there was also water coming out of the black ring between the tap and the basin (i assume this is a rubber washer). A couple of ques
