We watched a caravanning documentary the other day about the British love for caravanning and a look back on caravan history. It mentioned about the times where you could just pitch up your caravan anywhere you wanted - a wood, forest, by a river, on the side of the road - anywhere! Obviously times have changed and you can no longer pitch anywhere you like, with laws in place to restrict where you stay. Do you think caravanning would be more enjoyable or interesting if you could pitch up anywhere you wanted rather than a dedicated campsite? And if the answer is yes, do you think caravanning would appeal to more people with what would seem a wider 'freedom' to pitch where ever you liked? Let us know your thoughts
