Brought the van back from storage ready for our month away in June today and Just washed it then found water droplets inside the front right hand window, on investigation the water is coming from the rubber seal of the window hinge had this problem a few weeks after picking up from dealer new on the rear wash room window so I applied some black sealant to the area which cured the problem, so decided to do this window and the other 2 windows just in case. Any one else had this problem?
I have felt sorry for the owners of Lunar caravans having had front windows warping and de-laminating and thought, I must have missed the bad batch. Wrong, when washing the caravan yesterday we opened the front windows to clean around the surround and lo and behold the front middle window was like a dogs hind leg. Felt very low, then spoke to our dealer and he said "no problem, I will order you a new set straight away" so here's hoping I will in the not so distant future we will have a new set of front windows. Does anybody out there who has had this problem know how long delivery took?
I have two questions to pose if i may. The center drawers between the settees, it is very difficult to open the bottom pull out drawer. Even when i push the settee bum cushion in as far as it goes it is still difficult. The other issue with the drawers is the side cushions are too tight and pushing against the drawer side which is causing the whole unit to work loose. Has anybody else noticed this issue. My second question is with regards to the front windows. I noticed in certain sun light that the inside of the windows was fogging, this does not seem quite right to me can any one advise me on this.
Hi, can anyone offer advice on how to deal with a Vendee S5 2005 that is leaking rainwater into the front locker from under the front windows. I am not too concerned that rainwater is leaking onto the front locker plastic/resin floor, but very concerned that the woodwork inside the front panel may be rotting. It appears that the water is tracking down inside the two vertical window frames that separate the three front windows. Could the rainwater ingression be though the window hinges at the top of the windows or is it possibly more serious and the ingression be through the roof joint at the top of the front panel. There is no ingress on the inside of the van. Your help is appreciated.
