This one's fairly niche interest! Back in July we had an "interesting" discussion on the types of axle that Al-Ko offer - and who uses what. https://www. caravantalk. co. uk/community/topic/130418-single-vs-twin-axle/?page=4 The consensus seemed to be that the UK manufacturers used the Euro Compact axle and the mainland Europe manufacturers used the Euro Delta. This was backed up by Al-ko themselves, who also said that the Delta axle tended to be the cranked axle beam version. The Delta offers a more stable tow. I was curious to see if any
The control panel in my Lunar is made by Sargent. It normally shows battery voltage, at the touch of a button this switches to amps. About 5 weeks ago when in France on hook up, I noticed that the voltage was at 14. 9. This worried me, I tried it with my cheap multi tested which showed 13. 6 Concerned I called Sargent. They were also concerned. He asked me to check the amps which were only 0. 1. He said he would be very concerned if it had been something like 7. Should have mentioned there was no load. He offered to send parts out and thought it may have been a sof
Hi I bought my Lunar Delta TI last March since then I have had problems with the battery (taking it down as low as 3 volts). On each occasion the battery was new, fully charged and everything was switched off but was it? I understand that there are some possible reasons: The Alarm is a Keen alarm, according to their website the alarm draws . 025 amps, given that I have a 100amp/hour battery I calculate that I should get 160+ days before it flattens the battery The Awning Light glows in the dark - appaently Lunar know that there is a fault and are sending a new wiring loom to my dealer The
This might not be a big issue to most but to my wife and I, it's a real pain. The Daewoo microwave as fitted to most of the 2013 Luna range is, in the case of my Delta Ti, very high off the floor so it's hard for anyone of less than 6 foot to see into the microwave, let alone see what's cooking inside. This I can accept as it's probably the only place Lunar could site it. Now the big moan and it's safety related - the microwave light only comes on only during the cooking cycle. All microwaves that I've ever had, the light comes on as soon as the door is opened or during the cooking
