Another Carver Cascade 2 query - ours stopped working on gas, but was working on electricity. It was serviced a few weeks ago, on the day the Great Siberian Freeze arrived, as part of the van's general service. I'm fairly certain it can't have drained properly, as everything froze that day. The engineer properly loosened the big drain plug at the bottom Left of the cowling. He also loosened what I now understand to be the bleeder plug at the top Left of the cowling. We first used the caravan this week. Now when even the cold tap is switched on, water pours out through the cowling
Hi I have a Lunar Ariva 1999 fitted with Carver Cascade. The flow from the cold water is superb on all taps. The hot water starts superb, then slows within about 15 - 30 seconds to a trickle. Turning the tap off for about 30 seconds, then turning back on simply repeats the problem. It is the same on all taps. Also, as the flow reduces, the pump starts to chatter. I have used a strong solution of tank cleaner twice but it hasn't really helped. Cheers Phil
Hi I hope someone can help I bought my first caravan a cheap one but it will suffice to take my children on holidays for a while It has a carver cascade water heater however the drain plug was missing. As I was unsure of the year I bought both types the old 1987 and prior and the new 1987 onwards Neither actually fit. The thread is too small on the plugs I have taken the outside vent cover off and the plugs are too small I'm not sure what I can do. Any help wold be much appreciated Kind regards
Hey Guys, I was sitting watching TV - Cascade 2 water heater was on, suddenly heard a Boom and then the pump started going mental! Went outside to see what was happening and saw water just pumping out of the whole of the bottom of the vent panel. .. I'm guessing its end of life but does anyone know what I need to look at on it? I'm happy to remove it etc, if needed? Thank You
