This weekend, a team of intrepid and hardy souls from Caravan Guard will be taking on the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride - a 70 mile challenge from from Wetherby to Filey. In 2012 they won the prize for the team raising the most sponsorship, £6,000, and this year the team have set themselves an even bigger challenge of raising £7,000 (£100 for every mile they'll cover). All monies raised will be split between some very worthy causes: Heart Research UK, Yorkshire Cancer Research, Mencap, Epilepsy Research UK, Candle Lighters, Martin House Children's Hospice, Hollybank Trust, Wetherby Lions, Jennyruth Workshops, St John Ambulance and WiSE. If you're able to spare a couple of quid towards their total, the Caravan Guard team would be extremely appreciative You can visit their Virgin fundraising page here, or send cheques made payable to: 'Caravan Guard Charity Account' and sent to: Caravan Guard, New Road, Halifax, HX1 2JZ. If they're not too tired after the ride we'll ask them for an update so we can let you know how they got on. Best of luck to all the bikers
