Hi all, a newbie to the site and in need of urgent advice. I have a 2003 Ace Award Transtar (with Jubilee spec interior). I have brought it back from storage to find that my plug-in-systems ltd ESM2 is no longer charging my battery when plugged into mains (the battery charges whilst on tow). I have contacted Newport Caravans but they are unable to supply a new unit and recommended contacting the manufacturer of van. Recently purhased a 2109 Laser 675 and I am delighted with it, but....I have a fault that others may have experienced. When I switch on all of the lights in the lounge area I start to hear a fan within the power supply unit constantly stopping and starting. I have moved my caravan to a secure storage site. I have a Phantom tracker alarm and although I can switch off the motion sensor the satellite signal remains live and gradually drains the battery. There is no electric hookup in the storage area, so the obvious solution would be a solar panel to keep the battery topped up. I would love some suggestions and hints from members who have solved this problem.

And after the immediate clean left it still plugged in. ... Went in to change the power switch on the fridge (didn't illuminate, but does now!) ;-) and found the battery meter was reading in the RED. . Upon putting a meter on the battery, found it was discharged. ..8. 6v (new battery as

I would appreciate some advice on which charger to get for my 75AH leisure battery. The caravan will be in storage from Monday week and I have been advised to remove the battery and charge it once a month over the winter. Lots of £10-£20 chargers advertised on ebay but I am not sure of the charge rate or other specifications I need to look for in buying a charger so any advice would be most welcome. Thanks
