Is there any reason a razor socket cannot be fitted in the bathroom if it has an isolating transformer, is sited in zone 2 (BS7671) and has compliant cabling (and thus presumably could be certified)? People I've spoken to seem to fight shy of accepting this and I am not clear why this is.

Hi everyone, This is my first post and I'm afraid it is a bit of a sore point. My wife and I are the proud owners of a brand new (first ever) Lunar Cosmos 352. This is basically an Ariva with some extra kit. Now for the bad bits. On our second weekend away my wife was cleaning her teeth when she dropped her toothbrush and it fell into the bathroom sink . .....and guess what! It smashed the sink as if she had dropped a hammer not a toothbrush weighing 19gms. First of all I would like to know if this type of thing has happened to anyone else with any make of 'van. Secondly, is anyone out there aware of the lead times for repairs (up to 12 weeks I have been quoted) Finally I would like to say that I contacted Lunar at the earliest opportunity to register my surprise/disgust that the sink could be so easily damaged and to request estimates for costs to replace and fit. Their response has been underwhelming. I am also experiencing difficulty getting dealers to respond with quotes so that I can expedite my insurance claim. Strange, as with a car repairs are usually quick and effective, usually a matter of weeks, so I am told never having been involved in a claim. Any comments please.

A favour please - can anyone with a U2 Madrid, Cadiz or other U2 end bathroom van measure their vanity unit and confirm how the sink it's mounted My wife would like to change the butler sink & square tap in out U1 to the more practical vanity sink and swivel tap as fitted to the U2. I suspect it's about the same size but I'd like confirmation before I lash out £120 for a new sink & tap. The U1 dimensions are 450 wide by 30. 5 deep and the sink just sits on top with 4 studs that poke through with nuts on. Information would be gratefully received thanks

Another job I'm working on - the bathroom tap doesn't work. It's this type: First, any idea how to get the tap (knob part) off? I expected to unscrew a nut underneath, but there is none. I take it some part of the top comes off, but I can't see what and don't want to force anything and break it. Second, unlike the similar kitchen tap, there is no 'click' from the bathroom tap - does that mean the microswitch is broken? Third, to complicate matters, my basic multimeter (which only reads whole volts) is showing 5v on the input wires. Is that right? I had assumed it'd be a 12v circuit. Any help gratefully received!

This will take a while but I'll do my best to keep it short. Some Unicorn and Pegasus models have a nice little triangular cupboard in the bathroom just above the loo. Great and holds loads but SWMBO never stopped moaning that after every tow she had to inch the door open and catch items of her pills and potions before they smashed into the loo or onto the floor. Ever one for a quiet life I set to and made some shelf up stands from smoked Perspex I had kicking round. They are graduated from about 3in for the bottom shelf through 2in for the middle to about 1 in for the top ( So she can reach over them being a little person. ) Bent at the corners so they fit nicely held on place by postage sized bits of sticky back Velcro. They work a treat, she's over the moon and I don't have to feign deafness any more. Perspex is expensive as I have to buy large sheets but if any members would like a set making I am thinking about £10 should cover them and the wine to keep SWMBO happy when I commandeer the cooker. may be cheaper provided you source the Velcro. I'm not about to go into a production line but if say 10 members are seriously interested can they P. M. me so I can get an idea of numbers, or not as the case may be.

Just been away for our first weekend of the season in our new (to us) Coachman Pastiche. All working fine except the Bathroom sink water supply I have followed this procedure : Fill Aqua Roll Attach pump Open Taps Switch on 12v Pump Water fills the hot water heater tank and I have a good supply to the kitchen and to the shower, but when I turn on the bathroom sink taps I just get a few drops from both hot and cold settings. I have repeated this procedure multiple times to no avail Any ideas ? Many Thanks John

does anyone know where I can get parts for a 2006 cristall moorea? I know they went out of business some time ago, and I need a part for the bathroom door (check strap). Any ideas where to start looking?

We have a 2007 Swift 540 which we are using on an extended trip in France. We have notice two cracks in the bathroom and wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem? We have been over some uneven roads, but we have been so careful to drive slowly. Any comments?
