Hi Me and my partner brought our caravan in Feb this year. . The owner of the site moved our van, reversed it and hit some concrete, which broke one of the feet off. .. (which wasn't a big deal, brought new feet!!) but still - wasn't happy! However, when we then tried to move the van and wind the legs up, we noticed that the jack couldn't reach the bolt (IM HOPING THIS WILL MAKE SENSE TO SOMEONE OUT THERE! NOT EXACTLY SURE WHAT IM ON ABOUT!) So, after getting underneath and having a look, it seems, where the leg attaches to the bar at the top which then attaches to the caravan, it has been pushed upwards a little so its slightly out of place. It hasnt gone through the bottom, and you can still wind the legs using a spanner (Which is very time consuming but not a problem for us) But now we want to sell the caravan, so we need to try and get this fixed - ideally ourselves without taking to a shop!! So, does anyone have any experience of this? Of the problem? Of what could resolve it? I was looking at new legs, but the leg isn't bent, its fine, so i'm not sure if a new leg would fix the problem. Alternatively, can the 'top bar' be purchased which attaches the leg to the caravan? Sorry, I'm sure this will make some people laugh and will be confusing to others!! :huh: :huh: Hopefully i've made it clear enough to get some advice! Thanks in advance!!!

We thought this may be of interest to members. Last year my wife and I bought a campsite in the Auvergne region of central France. Last season was our first as new owners and we are looking forward to this summer and meeting people of all nationalities. The camp site, Champ de la Chapelle, is located in the Forest of Troncais, one of the largest oak forests in Europe. Any help and advice from members will be much appreciated, what exactly do you look for when choosing a camp site?
