  1. Tits a disgrace how sites can control and make you use their approved contractors , clearly they have a wedge on top so they make too . its a monopoly and as suck should be illegal. i priced a skirting kit up , £500 for all I needed to do the job but my site say no you can not do it yourself I’m now waiting for quote and it’s probably a thousand pounds more
  2. Hi there they sound like old Ellbee windows they are Barnsley way you could try there , they usually ask the chassis number so would help if you had that
  3. Hi Jack P most of the manufactures use one piece shower pods so there is less to leak there’s just the waste hole and where the shower valve connects then that could leak A caravan I’d really no different to your home and as long as there’s no leaks to cause rot to the floor or walls I think you can pretty much fit anything The shower if anything would be the item which would leak so more attention to that
  4. There is usually a chassis plate at a couple of points on the outside of the caravan
  5. Have you contacted focal point direct? http://www.focalpointfires.co.uk/ They do the fires and microwaves for the caravan industry and may have one
  6. You could always look at having heat cable fitted its a low heat cable that has a thermostat and comes on when the temperature falls below a certain level, it comes on and warms the pipes stopping them freezing i have it just on my cold water feed pipe and stop tap but they can fit it to every pipe on your caravan
  7. If it helps I had a Willerby engineer fixing my Avonmore boiler flue plate on the roof that was leaking. i asked him the question about removing fixed furniture from inside the caravan his reply was if the furniture doesn’t go from the floor to the roof you can remove it , it’s not structural hope this helps
  8. Hi yes static with just a normal outside garden tap the tyer compressor most cars have them these days it works well and you can see the last of the water leaving the pipes there are a lot more expensive products but for the money this is excellent
  9. Time of year and also now with the national lock down you will need to drain all the water in your caravan pipes to prevent freezing. here is a simple little thing to help blow residue water out of your pipe work very simple to use https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164461926137
  10. Try this one on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164461926137
